Barnes & Mullins International is a trading division of Barnes & Mullins Ltd, designed to facilitate the sales of Musical products globally to authorised trade distributors and partners.

All processes are administered by Barnes & Mullins Ltd, Unit 14, Mile Oak Industrial Estate, Oswestry, Shropshire, United Kingdom.

As a customer of Barnes & Mullins you are bound by the standard Terms of Sale as laid out here - www.bandm.co.uk/terms.

However, as an export customer of Barnes & Mullins there may be specific exceptions and regulations levied by either HMRC (UK Customs) or the Customs and Regulatory Authorities in your own country, or that of a transit country.
It is your responsibility to ensure that we (Barnes & Mullins) are aware of any specific requirements that your territory has in regard to paperwork, invoicing, shipping, fumigation, currency exchange etc.

Payment Terms:

Payment in Advance is required for all export orders supplied to distributors. A credit facility is not available. Orders will not be despatched until paid for.


Prices for export products will be displayed in $ USDollars. Payment should be made in $USDollars therefore, however subject to request we can quote in alternative major currencies. The exchange rate will fluctuate daily.

Some items are available FOB (Freight on Board from country of manufacture), and some products will also be available from UK stockholdings. Prices vary accordingly.
When placing an order online, you must choose whether each item is shipping FOB or from the UK.

Exchange Rate Fees:

You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank or money transfer agency. Any fees must be paid to your bank in addition to full settlement of your pro-forma invoice with Barnes & Mullins.


As a distributor you would be expected to organise your own shipping methods. Upon request, Barnes & Mullins can pass on details of relevant companies and even obtain quotes, but the shipping process, insurance during transit and administration will be your responsibility.

Fumigation / Special Treatment:

Some countries – such as Australia – has strict laws surrounding the import of products containing wood. These products must be fumigated prior to shipping. This service attracts associated costs, which will be passed on to you. The costs of such requirements are not the responsibility of Barnes & Mullins.


In the event of goods arriving with you having been damaged in transit, this is the responsibility of your shipping company or shipping agent. You must contact them very quickly to report any problems.

If goods contained within a shipment are faulty or imperfect, please speak to Barnes & Mullins who will assess the situation.
